League Ages for this level are 6-8 depending on skill level.  Pitching will be done by the coaches.  Girls will learn the basic softball skills, no umpires, stealing of bases are allowed, just can not steal home and rules of the game.  Games usually start later in May and run through June.  This is a travel league, so depending on the number of teams in the district, we could travel anywhere in district 8, but they try to keep travel distances to a minimum.
